Are you sick of giving out candy on Halloween? If so, our dentist, Dr. David Blackhurst, has some suggestions for you that are fun and exciting. Suggestions that might keep the kids coming back for more. Those suggestions are:
-Glow sticks: Who doesn’t like glow sticks? These are fun little sticks, bracelets, and necklaces that can add a little flare to a costume, help little ones who are afraid of the dark, and even help the parents keep track of their little monsters.
-Sugar-free gum: Sugar-free gum is like candy, but it’s healthier! In fact, when the child chews it, it can promote saliva production and rinse away the bacteria and sugar the other trick-or-treating candy spreads over the mouth. Plus, gum is fun anyway!
-Halloween trinkets: When your trick-or-treaters ring your doorbell, give them little treasures like spider rings, temporary Halloween tattoos, Halloween invisible ink, and even Halloween stickers. There are many trinkets you can find at the discount store, and the kids will love them!
